Octane is officially the first brand new character to join the cast of the popular franchise Apex Legends. After much data mining, speculation, and mysterious jump pads, Respawn confirmed today that the new character Octane will be added to Apex Legends with the Season 1 Battle Pass, which launches tomorrow. Here are the abilities of the new character Octane:
Octavio Octane Silva consists of a stimpak-based kit. His Adrenaline Junkie, activated the ability, trades health for speed. The original Octane character leak said this amount was 30 percent speed and great immunity to slowdown effects (such as Caustic’s gas or Arc Star stun) in exchange for about 10 percent health, though those numbers may have been pinched slightly. His passive ability regenerates the entire health over time after not taking damage for a little bit, and his Ultimate ability places a huge jump pad on the ground, which can be used for tactical high ground or to gain mobility.

Electronic Arts have finally confirmed that Apex Legends Season 1, called Wild Frontier, will go live at 10 am PT/1 pm ET tomorrow respectively, March 19, and has also finally dropped the extended details on the Season 1 Battle Pass.
The Season 1 Battle Pass will go for 950 Apex coins on its own, which is about $10 or in a Bundle of Battle Pass for 2800 Apex coins, which catapults you to level 25 from the very start. Purchasing the season 1 battle pass will immediately unlock the Lifelife Revolutionary, Mirage Outlaw, and Wraith Survivor skins, and as the respective pass owners advance in levels through the season, they will earn rewards including player and trackers, weapon skins, and badges. It does not appear that weekly challenges are a part of the bundle deal. More than 100 items are up for grabs, and everything which is earned during the first season is entirely yours to keep.
The season 1 battle pass can be purchased at any time during the first season, and multiple different rewards will automatically unlock up to your current seasonal level, so you would not miss out on anything if you are late to the party. The season 1 Battle Pass Bundle will unlock the rewards for up to 25 levels beyond your current level, so if you are on level 20 when you purchase it, for instance, you will be given all the rewards up to level 45.
All the players, without or with the season 1 Battle Pass, can earn a Wild Frontier character skin, 18 Wild Frontier stat tracks and five Apex Packs simply by playing during season 1, and the Battle Pass reward items can also be earned by players who do not have the pass, just at a far slower pace. Remember one thing, Apex Packs completely stop dropping at every level once you hit level 20, so you are probably not going to grind all of this stuff out without the help of the guide.
