OLATHE, Kan Garmin International, Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd., today announced the latest ECHOMAP Ultra series, a new line of keyed-assist 12-inch and 10-inch touchscreen chartplotters, which are designed to bring professional performance to nearshore and inland anglers. Offering a best in class solution, the new ECHOMAP Ultra series has built-in assistance for Garmin’s crystal-clear Ultra High-Definition sonar scanning as well as the award-winning Panoptix LiveScope support series, including the new single-array LVS12, which delivers live scanning sonar images of the given structure, fish and bait swimming below and around the boat in real time. Preloaded with latest and most detail-rich cartography of Garmin both BlueChart g3 and LakeVü g3 maps and charts with integrated Auto Guidance1 technology and Navionics data, the ECHOMAP Ultra series has the functionality and power to meet the demands of today’s anglers.

For crystal clear scanning of structure and fish, the new ECHOMAP Ultra 126sv and ECHOMAP Ultra 106sv are available bundled with the new Ultra HD GT54UHD-TM transducer that is all in one which provides the highest SideVü and ClearVü scanning sonar images and amazingly clear and high wide CHIRP traditional sonar. For extended depth and range performance, the SideVü of GT54UHD-TM operates at 455 kHz. ECHOMAP Ultra chartplotters are fully compatible with the full line of Panoptix all-seeing multiple sonar transducers, including the Panoptix LiveScope System and the new Panoptix LiveScope LVS12, so anglers can see real-time sonar imagery at HD video-like speed. The ECHOMAP Ultra 126sv and the new ECHOMAP Ultra 106sv are also available without a bundled transducer.
These latest new chartplotters are the first in the ECHOMAP product line to offer both BlueChart g3 and LakeVü g3 cartography products for Bahamas and the U.S. built-in for inland and near-shore fishing and boating. The charts and the new g3 maps blend the best of both Navionics and Garmin content together to deliver unparalleled coverage, detail and convenience to users with navigational aids, depth contours, spot soundings, tides and currents, artificial reefs and detailed harbors and fish attractors and marinas. The new g3 cartography also integrates the latest and new Garmin Auto Guidance, a technology that searches through the most relevant charts to create a suggested route based upon the desired depth and overhead clearance of the user. For international use, the ECHOMAP Ultra 122sv and ECHOMAP Ultra 102sv are available with a worldwide basemap.
For the most detailed and informative data, the BlueChart g3 Vision and the new LakeVü g3 Ultra and accessory cards and downloads are also available for the new ECHOMAP Ultra series and, for the very first time, offer new full HD high-resolution relief shading that combines shadow and color to give anglers an easy-to-interpret, clearer view of bottom structure than contour lines alone.
Staying connected on and off the water with the new ECHOMAP Ultra series is easier than ever before. On the water, waypoints, sonar and routes can be shared across various different ECHOMAP Ultra units as well as ECHOMAP Plus 9-inch and 7-inch units. The latest new ECHOMAP Ultra series also has NMEA 2000 connectivity and assistance for autopilots, digital switching, heading sensors and many more. And thanks to the built-in wireless device, anglers can easily take advantage of the free all in one Garmin ActiveCaptain mobile application, which creates a simple yet powerful connection between an ECHOMAP Ultra and a compatible mobile device. ActiveCaptain allows users to purchase and update maps and charts from the OneChart storefront on a mobile device anytime, reference the ActiveCaptain community for various other points and marina of interest details, access to Quickdraw Community data and many more. ActiveCaptain also gives smart notifications directly to the chartplotter, off-vessel planning capabilities, over-the-air software updates and so much more.
The new ECHOMAP Ultra series is expected to be available in Q2 2019. If you have any query regarding the Garmin GPS service, then you can contact the Garmin GPS support or Garmin GPS customer service on our website.
